2008 Partners’ Assembly

This year’s Partners’ Assembly will take place in Bonn on May 22nd, on the International Biodiversity Day, during the CoP9 meeting.
With less than 1000 days left before 2010, the Assembly is a unique opportunity for partners to exchange views and information on the best strategies to adopt to reach the target.
The Countdown 2010 Partners’ Assembly brings together a great number of actors committed to reaching the 2010 target. Stakeholders from a wide variety of fields come together to present ideas, raise issues and discuss appropriate actions in order to ensure that biodiversity loss will halt by 2010.
On May 24, Bonn will also host the Biodiversity Forum, co-organised by UNEP, Secretariat to Convention on Biological Diversity, Countdown 2010 and IUCN.
