Document biodiversity – boost ecological awareness!

28 June 2010, Vienna (Austria). Naturfreunde International (NFI) invites nature lovers and photographers to document the wonders of biological diversity on planet Earth, and participate in the NFI Photo Championship themed “Countdown 2010 – Biodiversity“.

Entries for the NFI Photo Championship 2010 are divided in two categories – general (Biodiversity) or thematic (Biodiversity in the surroundings of Naturfreunde Houses; Biodiversity along Natura Trails; Biodiversity in Landscapes of the Year; and Biodiversity in the Alpine Pearls).

The aim of the competition is to enhance the appreciation of the variety of life and raise awareness of the importance of its protection in 2010, the International Year of Biodiversity.

Deadline for entries: 1 October 2010.
