Industrial Minerals Association joins Countdown 2010
11 September 2008. The Industrial Minerals Association, in Europe is now partner of Countdown 2010!
The signing ceremony took place on the occasion of the IMA-Europe Conference on 11 September 2008 in the presence of Sebastian Winkler, Head of Countdown 2010.
Claude Stenneler, IMA-Europe President, signed the Declaration on behalf of the members. IMA-Europe has as such officially put the promotion of the protection of biodiversity on the Association’s agenda. The first concrete actions consisted of starting collecting biodiversity case studies and choosing Biodiversity as theme for the 2009 European Minerals Day.
