International tourism film festival calls for biodiversity videos
21 June 2010, Portugal. This year, the ART&TUR Festival will select the best biodiversity video in addition to awarding the best tourism films worldwide.
Through the Charles Darwin Award for best film on Biodiversity, the ART&TUR Festival promotes the idea of protecting biodiversity and the preservation of the wild world.
The ART&TUR Festival is an excellent showcase for the best films and audiovisual projects on tourism. The most innovative films and videos will be selected by an international jury of specialists at the end of July 2010.
Participants have the chance to submit their audiovisual works in over 18 categories, covering the most significant themes of tourism. The 2010 edition features two other new categories, aside from Biodiversity: Human Life and Young Talents.
A special event on 26 September 2010, which will attract high media coverage in the Europe, will assign Gold Awards in every category as well as the Grand Prix.
The ART&TUR Festival is member of CIFFT, an international network of festivals which is endorsed by the UNWTO, Pacific Asia Travel Association and European Travel Commission. This year the participation is free.
