New partners in Noord Brabant (the Netherlands)
Last Friday, 25th of April 2008, another 10 organizations and municipalities in the province of Noord-Brabant (the Netherlands) signed the Countdown 2010 declaration and joined the partnership.
The signing event was part of the Animal Event in the biodiversity pavilion at Safaripark The Beekse Bergen, which attracted more than 27.000 visitors.
The list of new participants is below. Together 62 participants in Noord-Brabant have signed up the declaration until now. And at least another 36 are interested to sign in the future.
The new participants are;
- Zuidelijke Land- en Tuinbouw Organisatie (ZLTO) (The biggest co-operation for farmers in the south of the Netherlands; 19.000 members, representing 12.000 farmers)
- Recron (The co-operation of almost all recreation business in the Netherlands like leisure- and bungalowparks and campingsites, representing 1.900 members)
- Municipality of Eersel
- Municipality of Hilvarenbeek
- Municipality of Goirle
- Municipality of Gilze en Rijen
- Municipality of Dongen
- Municipality of Bladel
- Municipality of Reusel-De Mierde
- Reconstructiecommissie Kempenland
The MOLO Taskforce on Biodiversity and Countdown 2010 in Noord-Brabant is pleased with this progress in joining Countdown 2010.
