Where are we now?

During this session all four workshop streams will in parallel discuss the respective background papers prepared for each session. The objective of this session is to create a common understanding among participants on the state of play regarding European business and biodiversity.

What are the priority challenges and opportunities?

In this session the presentations and discussions in the respective workshop streams focus on sharing know-how and lessons learnt in relation to European business and biodiversity. The workshop streams will try to bridge differences of perception, knowledge or values and to arrive at a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities.

The final set of workshop streams will generate commitment of participants to work together on shared objectives with other stakeholders or specify what actions will be undertaken to contribute to the achievement of challenges and opportunities identified in the previous sessions. The session will develop elements for a European Business and Biodiversity Initiative.
