Cambridge City Council will strive to implement its adopted Nature Conservation Strategy through the designation of new Local Nature Reserves within the City, the production and implementation of conservation management plans for the City Commons, the protection and enhancement of biodiversity within the City growth areas, and the engagement of local communities in biodiversity initiatives and events.
