Fundacio Territori i Paisatge - Caixa Catalunya


The Fundació Territori i Paisatge, created by the Caixa Catalunya Social Work at the end of 1997, aims at co-operating in the preservation of natural heritage and landscape and creating awareness among the population on the need to protect the environment.The Foundation is the largest private owner in Catalonia (Spain) and has more than 7,500 ha in property and manages 126,000 ha in land stewardship agreements, which is 4.2% of the total land of Catalonia. It also supports and co-operates in nature conservation projects by institutions nationwide, including a flagship species programme, including Lammergeier, Iberian Lynx, Brown Bear, Monk Seal, Storks, Bonelli’s Eagle, etc. and carries out an ongoing educational programme to promote environmental values.
